High Tea Candles
Kia ora/Hello,
My name is Alix de Blic and I am the crafter behind High Tea Candles.
I am addicted to old school teaware and wanted to give these beautiful English China another life! Hence turning them into candles, which I also love.
I research all complete teacup and saucer set to provide you with the brand and the era it was made (all reported on the tag). The China I use is made in England and some date back to the early 1900’s.
All candles are made out of soy wax and poured at my home in MacAndrew Bay. Outside of markets, my lounge serves as a showroom for my husband and two daughters to enjoy.

All products are created and made from my house in the South Island in Balclutha.

I have created Dani Maree Scents to offer wooden wicked, soy wax candles and wax melts. I have currently 6 different scents available in 200ml and 400ml glass candles ranging from $25-$40. I also have wax melts for $10
I created this business as I saw an opportunity to provide good quality candles with a strong fragrance at a low price. Being a student myself, I know how difficult it can be to spend a lot of money on candles so I decided to create a range that is affordable while keeping the product at a high standard.
My mission is to be as environmentally conscious as possible, almost everything used to make the candles can be cleaned and recycled and I also offer a discount on refilled candles from returned jars.
At this time, I am only doing local Dunedin orders and hoping to add national shipping soon.
These candles and wax melts are hand poured in Dunedin.
