sharragh creations

The girls are made by hand with love by Roz who has been making these dolls for several years now. Where she can, she uses recycled materials - purchasing many of the fabrics and laces from charity shops. The faces are hand painted with fabric paint.

They are very excited for the upcoming cruise ship season and we are all looking forward to meeting you all.  Their passports are all in hand and the girls are ready to go.

Supposedly retired, Roz lives in Milton, about an hour south of Port Chalmers and works part time as the museum curator at a nearby town. The rest of the time she manufactures the dolls, does children's knitting for her market stall, carries out research and writes.

Her business name is Sharragh Creations; named after the townland in Ireland where her mother's people came from back in the 1860s.

See you at our Cruise Ship Markets at the PC Town Hall during cruise ship season.
