Hello, I'm Kerry, also known as Mrs Sparkles. I am the Designer and
Creator of Kerry Kiwi As, based at my home studio in Dunedin, NZ.
Vintage Handmaiden is dedicated to up-cycling & sustainability. My
focus is on re-creating local finds & re-inventing them into unique &
fun items for the home and crafter.
I offer a diverse and ever-changing range, depending on what the
universe sends my way.
I love to create items with an element of surprise and have a sense of
joy.

Our handcrafted range is focused on eco-friendly & reusable items, mainly for use in the kitchen. In 2019, it all started with our beeswax food wraps, when we lived in the beautiful remote town of Te Anau, Fiordland.
Since then our range has grown, with linen bread bags, popcorn bags, cotton cloths & lip balm now on offer. The main materials used in making our products are locally sourced NZ beeswax, cotton & linen, keeping everything natural as possible.
Most of our production is out of the kitchen/dining room, with the divine smell of beeswax wafting from the slow cooker & sewing from our large table looking out to our garden.
We now reside in the Victorian Heritage & Steam Punk Headquarters town of Oamaru, North Otago.

Hi, We’re Liana and Cary,
We moved to New Zealand from Canada. Everything that we produce at Walkin Gardens is made fresh from our garden, spray-free with no chemicals or pesticides. It is made to the same high standard as if it were for our loved ones.
We produce a line of skincare products using plants from our garden. Our flagship product is Calendula Oil, which was originally made for personal use to calm reactive skin. We have expanded our range to include Lavender Oil and Rosemary Oil, with plans to continue developing new products.
Calendula: soothes skin irritation, promotes wound healing, is anti-inflammatory, has antibacterial properties, and can be used to treat many skin conditions.
Lavender: promotes restful sleep, reduces anxiety, is anti-inflammatory, has antibacterial properties, and can be used to treat many skin conditions.
Rosemary: balances acne-prone skin, enhances skin elasticity, is anti-inflammatory, has antioxidant properties, increases circulation, and can prevent hair loss.
